My friend, Debbie, is a local science teacher and brought one of her experiements to the house to show the kids. Lucky for the kids, it involved liquid nitrogen and ice cream, a winning combination! Apparently, it is okay to ice cream after it's been frozen with liquid nitrogen. Anyway, I haven't died, yet, from eating the ice cream!

What fun! I wish I had been in attendance for that. Science was always a subject I enjoyed, especially when I got to participate in experiments. You really captured the delight in your childrens faces with that photo! I'm sure this will be a great memory for them when they're grown!
i loved these little things growing up - it made 'normal' life more exciting! :) I'm so glad they get to experience science in such a tangible way!
