Chuck Taylor's

These were too cute to pass up because they were on sale. AND mine are velour with soft pink silk inside. Okay, so I normally buy the kids shoes at a garage sale or consignment shop, I absolutely could not pass these up. We're super adorable wearing these shoes together.

Florida: Florizona

Bug peeks out of a crevice in the gorgeous landscape.
Papa and our hosts with all the boys post for a great photo opportunity.
Not only was the scenery picturesque, but we had a lovely hostess and Peanut had a cute little friend.

Florida: The Tampa Aquarium

Bug got caught touching the starfish. It's a no-no but definitely a fun trick.

Bug and Peanut peering into the shark tank. It was incredible. Besides the sharks, the tank sported a huge sea turtle.

Florida: Swimming with the Sea Cows

This is what we did today! Swimming with the manatees was absolutely the most exhilarating thing I've done to date. And maybe I have a boring life, but it was fabulous! The manatee calf snuggled up with me and just loved to get scratched. The big and scary fish is called a tarpon. It's about 3 feet long and has huge eyes. How fun!

For these pictures I need to thank Captain Andy for allowing his guests to post photos on his website, www.captainandy.com. We chose not to buy the $14 underwater camera and instead pick from his website.

Florida: Homosassa Wildlife Park

They just loved climbing on this statue. Okay, so it wasn't actually for them to climb on, but they were having a ball.

Okay, this was the cutest photo of the day. This girl loves her Papa.

"Nassy hippo poop," said Peanut after she saw, well, the hippo poop. It might've been the highlight of the day.

He still looked scary just lying still.

New Years with the Boonzaaijers and the Boonzaaijers

Oma and Peanut share a tiny little kiss at the table. She just loved her Oma and they spent lots of time together going to the park and reading.

Three little monkeys sitting in the tub. And, not surprisingly, not one of them wanted scrubbings.

There's the youngest Boonzaaijer and her sweet mama! We're so glad they came to visit us!

Peanut got her fair share of lovings from her Oma as well as her Opa. Usually, she just crawled into his lap and snuggled while he read.

Just one example of Oma reading to all of the grandkids minus the youngest. This might've been the sweetest moment of the visit.

New Years with Family: 1

Who can resist this cuteness?
